August 2020: A belated, but no less warm, welcome to Kelsey Davinson and Martina Villa, the newest graduate student members of the DEV program. Kelsey is coming to us from UC-Davis and will be joining the Cognition, Action and Psychophysiology Lab (PI: Dr. Kimberly Cuevas). Martina comes to UConn from the Scientific Institute IRCCS Eugenio Medea in Lombardy, Italy, and will be joining Dr. Nicole Landi’s Lab.

Summer 2020: Dr. Kimberly Cuevas was named Fellow by the Eastern Psychological Association’s Board of Directors. Congratulations Kimberly!

Summer 2020: Congratulations to Dr. Nicole Landi for being awarded a 2020-2021 James McKeen Cattel Fund Fellowships. “For over half a century, the James McKeen Cattell Fund has provided support for the science and the application of psychology…These awards supplement the regular sabbatical allowance provided by the recipients’ home institutions, to allow an extension of leave-time from one to two semesters.” Congratulations Nicole!

Summer 2020: Dr. Nicole Landi was awarded a 5-year R01 grant from NICHD. Her grant is titled “Effectiveness and predictors of response for a technology-based reading intervention in the home”.  Congratulations Nicole!

June 2020: Congratulations to Amanda Mankovich for successfully defending her Master’s Thesis titled, “Context Effects on Child Object Touch and Parent Referential Speech: Implications for Autism Spectrum Disorder”. Bravo Amanda!
